Safari Guide Website

This one-page website (https://lauraportfolio.netsons.org) was designed as a profile website prototype for a safari guide specialized in the Kruger National Park, South Africa.

From a design perspective, the structure was created to be clear and intuitive, with a linear layout that makes content easy to navigate and guides the user through a coherent visual journey. The extensive use of high-quality imagery is not only aesthetic, but also functional: it helps communicate the richness of the landscape in a direct way while increasing user engagement through strong visual impact.

The colour palette is based on warm, natural tones inspired by the landscapes of South Africa — earth, sand, and vegetation — with the goal of strengthening the site’s visual identity and creating an immersive experience connected to the geographical and environmental context of Kruger National Park.

From a typographic point of view, distinctive and slightly adventurous fonts were selected for headings and subheadings to evoke a sense of exploration and discovery. These are balanced with more readable fonts for descriptive text, ensuring a clear visual hierarchy and good readability throughout the page.

Overall, the project aims to combine aesthetics and functionality, delivering an engaging user experience capable of conveying the adventurous atmosphere of a safari without compromising clarity and usability.

The name used for the project is entirely fictional.
